Exchange control for post financial emigration
Exchange control for non residents

The reforms of South Africa's financial emigration process are being poorly implemented, creating unnecessary barriers for non residents. This has discouraged many South African expats from formally ceasing to be South African tax resident with SARS and perversely incentivised those that do to cut their financial ties with the country. We advocate here for clarification and further reform https://www.golegal.co.za/exchange-control-regulations/.
